Assessment of creep residual life for typical metal materialsat elevated temperatures
摘要
Abstract
High temperature creep is one of the main causes for the failure of metal structures, and the evaluation of the high temperature creep life of metal materials is an important part of industrial safety production.Three creep life evaluation methods, namely, the persistent strength experiment extrapolation method, the microstructure analysis method and the ultrasonic measurement method, were introduced.The principle, the characterization parameters, the research progress both in China and overseas, the advantages and disadvantages were summarized.It concluded that the application of these methods to the evaluation of the high temperature creep state and the residual life prediction is the main method adopted at present.Based on the analysis and comparison of these methods, we point out that the nonlinear ultrasonic technology has the advantages of high sensitivity and nondestructive online testing, which is the direction of the development of high temperature creep evaluation in the future.关键词
