摘要
Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical effect of pterygium extend excision with corneal limbal stem cells autologous transplantion in treating pterygium. Methods Seven hundred and forty-eight cases of pterygium patients for the first time(seven hundred and seventy-two eyes) were treated from January 2005 to January 2014 in our hospital. They underwent pterygium excision combined with extensive resetion of the lesion area of the fascia and residual conjuntival resetion and autologous corneal limbal stem cells transplantion. Treatment effects of recurrence rate and wound recovery for corneal and bulbar conjunctive were observed. Results Patients were followed up for 6-24 months (means,15 months) after operation,recurrence rate of pterygium is 3.6 percent,In no recurrence of pterygium, wound recovery for corneal and bulbar conjunctive were good and the appearance improved significantly. Conclusion It is effective and safe that pterygium extended excision with corneal limbal stem cells autograft transplantation. It has low recurrence causes less discomfort, take less time and helps wound surface to heal quickly.关键词
