早熟西瓜新品种苏蜜9号的选育
A New Watermelon F1 Hybrid ——'Sumi No.9'
摘要
Abstract
'Sumi No.9'is a new mini watermelon Fl hybrid developed by crossing inbred line'SW082-1-1' as female parent and inbred line'SW069-2-1'as male parent.It is of early maturity.It takes about 30 days for fruit development.Its plant has strong growth vigor.It is tolerant to low temperature and weak light.It is easy for fruit setting.The fruit is of oval shape.The single fruit weight is 2.0-3.0 kg.The rind is light green covered with dark green narrow strips.The pericarp thickness is about 0.5 cm.Its flesh is red in color and tastes crispy. The center soluble solid content is 12.0%-13.2%.The fruit is juicy with less fiber and good flavor.It can yield about 37.5 t·hm-2.It is suitable to be cultivated in middle and lower valley of the Yangtze River in spring in plastic tunnel.关键词
