Abstract
Objective To explore the feasibility,safety and advantages of vacuum sealing drainage (VSD) technique in the treatment of acute breast abscess according to the fast track surgery (FTS) theory.Methods The clinical data of 48 cases suffered acute breast abscess in our hospital from June 2015 to June 2016 were analyzed retrospectively.According to the drainage method,26 cases underwent VSD were regarded as VSD group and 22 cases treated by traditional abscess incision drainage were as the control group.The healing time,scarring length,the average hospital stays,the breast deformation and the recurrence rate were compared between two groups.Results The breast abscess healing time,scar length and average hospitalization days were (10.1 ± 1.5) d,(1.5 ± 0.6) cm and (13.2 ± 3.7) d respectively in VSD group,and were (16.4 ± 2.7) d,(4.2 ± 0.7) cm and (23.2 ± 3.1) d respectively in control group,there were statistical differences between two groups (P ＜ 0.05).All patients were followed up for 6 months.One case was found recurrence in VSD group and 3 cases in control group,and no statistical difference between two groups (P ＞ 0.05).There was no breast deformation in VSD group but 2 patients in the control group,and no statistical difference between two groups (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion The VSD technique based on FTS is an effective and safe method for the treatment of acute breast abscess.关键词
