Strategy and opportunity: striding into tobacco genome era
摘要
Abstract
China's tobacco genome project is one of major science and technology projects for China tobacco industry,which is the concrete implementation of national innovation development strategy in tobacco industry and an important step forward to adapt to the current development trend of biotechnology and life sciences.It is also an important measure to strengthen basic frontier research,scale the heights of science and technology,and enhance core competitiveness of the industry.The background,research progress and main achievements of China's tobacco genome project were introduced in this paper,while future tobacco genome research direction was prospected.China's tobacco genome project aims to break the bottleneck in key technologies of tobacco production,and to promote research of China tobacco basic and applied research into the era of genome,so that to realize the strategic leap from traditional breeding to precision breeding,and to guide the future development of tobacco science and technology.关键词
