摘要

Abstract

To confirm the pathogen causing leaf spot on cut-leaf philodendron(Philodendron bipinnatifidum)observed in Zhanjiang,Guangdong province,pathogenicity of isolates from the symptomatic leaf was tested,and identification of pathogen was conducted according to the morphological characteristics and ITS sequence. The results showed the pathogen was Neofusicoccum mangiferae(Syd. & P. Syd.)Crous,Slippers & A.J.L. Phillips. The results of biological characteristics showed that the PDA and CDM medium were most conducive to mycelia growth, the colony diameters were up to 87.0 mm after incubation at 25℃ in dark for five days. The best carbon and nitrogen source of mycelia growth was dextrose and L-alanine respectively. The optimum temperature of mycelia growth ranged from 20℃to 30℃and the optimum pH value was 8. The effects of light treatments on mycelia growth was significantly different.Mycelia growth was advantageous in dark however, light illumination stimulated pathogen sporulation.
