摘要

Abstract

The input windows of helix TWTs demand relative low power level and the coaxial windows can meet the requirement.Compared with waveguide windows,coaxial windows have many advantages including small size,broad bandwidth and ease of impedance matching.18~40 GHz coaxial windows were designed and fabricated but with a rather low yield at early production because of a constant spike appearing near the frequency of 38 GHz.Based on analysis of production process and CST simulation,the structure of the coaxial window was optimized and the fabrication process was improved,consequently the finished products rate of the coaxial window is greatly increased and optimal VSWR was obtained in the whole frequency band.
