Willingness and Its Influencing Factors of Family Farms to Buy Agricultural Insurance——Based on 307 Samples in Jiangsu Province

Abstract
Based on the field research and questionnaires of 307 family farms in Jiangsu Province,we made a descriptive statistical analysis to the demand and its influencing factors of family farms for agricultural insurance,and then used Logistic model to test how these factors influence the buying willingness of the family farms on agricultural insurance.The results showed that:The buying willingness was significantly positively affected by the percentage agricultural income accounted for the whole household income,the awareness of agricultural risk and knowledge of agricultural insurance,insurance varieties;there was a negative correlation between the percentage of premium subsidy and buying willingness.Some policy recommendations to promote the development of agricultural insurance were put forward from the perspectives of the government and insurance companies.关键词
