Improvement of Peak Load Regulation Capacity of Combined Heat and Power Units Considering Dynamic Thermal Performance of Buildings and District Heating Pipelines Network

Abstract
The combined heat and power (CHP) operation mode considering the dynamic thermal performance of buildings and district heating pipelines network is proposed to solve the lack of peak load regulation capacity of CHP units.The problem of power determined by heat operation mode is solved.The composition of the CHP system based on the dynamic thermal performance of buildings and pipelines is described in detail.Changes of the electric power and heat operation points of CHP units are compared with or without considering the dynamic thermal performance of the buildings and pipelines.The mechanism of improving the peak load regulation capacity is given.The CHP dispatch model considering the dynamic thermal performance of both buildings and pipelines is also given.Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed model can significantly improve the upward and downward regulation capacity of CHP units,which is better than the model considering the dynamic thermal performance of only buildings or only pipelines.In addition,the characteristic of the heat and power coupled at the source side is extended to the load side.Furthermore,the heat and power of CHP units can be decoupled by coordinated control of sources and loads.关键词
