摘要

Abstract

Cascaded H-bridge rectifier(CHBR)paves the way of high-voltage applications without input transformer,because the total voltage of CHBR is on average divided on each switch and the topology achieves two-way flow of energy and power factor correction.The principle of CHBR is explored,and an improved PI based control method is put forward to balance the DC link voltages of CHBR.The method can make DC link voltages of all cells equal when the CHBR works on the no load or load condition.A three cell CHBR prototype is built in the laboratory,the experimental results verify the correctness of the theoretical analysis.
