Abstract
Combining mass transfer form of bubbling with mass transfer form of spraying, Bubble-cap Tridimensional Sieve trays were independently researched.The hydrodynamic performance of the new Bubble-cap Tridimensional Sieve trays (N-BTS) was studied in water-air system.Kinetic energy factor in plate hole, liquid flow rate and weir height influence on tray pressure drop, weeping and entrainment were investigated.Besides N-BST was compared with BTS-1.The results show that the total tray pressure drop and entrainment rate of N-BTS are increased with increasing kinetic energy factor in plate hole, liquid flow rate and weir height.With the increasing weir height and liquid flow rate, the gas velocity at liquid weeping point is increased, and performance of N-BTS is superior to BTS-1.Optimized tray structure satisfies the design requirements.关键词
