Abstract
Metal feed containing different proportions of metal powder and binder were prepared by internal mixer,and its flow properties were determined and compared to obtain optimal feeding formula needed for optimum injection molding experiments.The result showed that comprehensive performance of stainless steel feed was the best when the content of stainless metal powder in stainless steel feed was 92.6%.On basis of the processing parameter and optimal sintering temperature determination experiments,specimens were made with the determined feed formula and the processed injection mold.The precise injection machine was used for the molding and the injection temperature was set as the indentified optimal one.Shrinkage in the molding was investigated and the results showed that the molding shrinkage was 13.71% at the optimal sintering temperature.The cavity of intervertebral fusion cage moulds should be enlarged due to the high shrinkage and thus the injection mold of intervertebral fusion cage was re-designed.By using the precision injection molding machine,the products which meet the application requirements were obtained with the optimal feed formula at the reasonable process parameters.关键词
