Effect of Teamwork Study Based on Conceptual Map and Situational Teaching in Emergency Nursing for Nursing Undergraduates

Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of teamwork study based on conceptual map and situational teaching in the course of e-mergency nursing for nursing undergraduates. Methods Teamwork study based on conceptual map and situational teaching was car-ried out among 102 nursing undergraduates in the teaching of emergency nursing. Class participation questionnaire, team value ques-tionnaire, autonomous learning questionnaire, and assessment questionnaire of situational teaching effect were used before and after the intervention. Results The total score of autonomous learning and team value was 72.0±8.4 and 64.6±8.7 respectively, which was higher than that before the intervention, 68.5±10.9 and 62.1±8.9 respectively, and the difference had statistical significance (P<0.05). Feedback from situational teaching indicated that teamwork study based on conceptual map and situational teaching had signif-icant effect on promoting team cooperation 3.9±0.9 and learning enthusiasm 3.8±0.9, improving theoretical knowledge 3.8±0.9, practi-cal application ability 3.8±0.9, problem-solving ability 3.7±0.8 and confidence 3.6±1.0, but 23.5% of the students regarded that they could not obtain adequate or imcomplete knowledge and 17.6% thought they needed more practice. Meanwhile, 15.7% of the students thought the scene was not authentic and 10.8% it was time-and-energy-consuming. Conclusion Teamwork study based on con-ceptual map and situational teaching in the course of emergency nursing for nursing undergraduates benefits improving students ' au-tonomous learning ability and team value, stimulating students ' learning motivation, strengthening team 's cooperation and communi-cation and promoting comprehensive clinical nursing ability. It provides evidence for future development of teaching mode and strategy.关键词
