Effects of Foliar Application of Silicon on Dry Matter Production and Grain Yield of Rice

Abstract
The effects of foliar application of silicon on SPAD value of flag leaves,dry matter weight and yield components at grain-filling stage of Shengdao 14 were studied to discuss the influences of silicon on dry matter production and yield formation of rice.The results indicated that foliar application of silicon significantly enhanced the SPAD value of flag leaves,dry matter weight of leaves,stems and sheaths,panicles and grain yield.关键词
