Abstract

Reasonable determination of the construction measures and the city scale of sponge city is the key link for the scientific planning and design of the sponge city,while the total runoff control is one of the benchmarks to evaluate the effect of the sponge city construction,as it is the rigid index of the sponge city.Taking Tianshui City as a case in the study herein,the study area is divided into 10 902 triangular meshes and 5 748 computational nodes with the multi-dimensional coupling rainfall-runoff model—HydroInfo by taking the analysis of the expected effect of the sponge city construction as the objective,and then the total runoff control for the sponge city construction is quantitatively calculated and verified by improving the dispersion accuracy with the MUSCL method.The result shows that under the condition of design rainfall,the proportion of the status outflow of rainwater is 81.2% of the study area.The ratios of infiltration,storage and outflow are 64.9%,20.1% and 15% respectively after adding green-land by 14% and storage facility by 25%,thus the infiltration-storage ratio is higher than 85% of the target of the total runoff control.Under the circumstances of the rainstorm with return period of 20 years,the outflow coefficient is to be 43.9%,the storage proportion is to be 12.8%,the infiltration proportion can reach to 30.5% and the detention storage water amount is to be increased from 0.141 4 million m3 to 1.186 9 million m3 after the complete of the construction of the sponge city therein,while the construction scheme of sponge city effectively enhances the capacities of infiltration,detention and storage of the study area and then reduces the urban drainage pressure and waterlogging risk.The study result provides a practical method for the planning and construction of sponge city.
