摘要

Abstract

[Objective]To explore the effect of the different straw amount returning on sorghum yield,field experiment has been conducted based on the summer sorghum-winter wheat systems,in the central region of the Shanxi Province.[Methods]A year field experiment with a one-factor random block design was carried out in a summer sorghum-winter wheat rotation system.Setting up no-returning (CK),half returning (HR) and all returning (WR) 3 treatments,we studied the effects on sorghum growth and yield.[Results]Compared with CK treatment,straw returning significantly affected the height,leaf area index and yield components of summer sorghum.The plant height and leaf area index of summer sorghum were significantly increased under HR treatment,which was 16.82% and 11.45% higher than CK treatment respectively.The ear length,ear number and number of grain per ear of HR were increased by 5.13%,11.01% and 2.86% respectively.In addition,the yield of summer sorghum under HR treatment was the highest,which was 8.44% and 20.41 % higher than CK and WR treatments.[Conclusion]50% straw returning effectively promoted the summer sorghum leaf area index,ear length,ear number and number of grain per ear,showing a significantly advantage of production.The 50% straw returning was suitable for promotion in the central region of Shanxi Province.
