Abstract
Objective To investigate the expression of long chain non-coding RNA-EPS (lincRNA-EPS)in non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC)and to explore its relationship with the clinicopathological characteristics of the disease. Methods To examine the expression and localization of lincRNA-EPS in NSCLC tissues and adjacent normal lung tissues by in-situ hybridization.The expression level of lincRNA-EPS in NSCLC and adjacent normal tissues was tested by quanti-tative polymerase chain reaction.The association between lincRNA-EPS expression and the clinicopathological characteris-tics of NSCLC was further analyzed.Results The high expression rate of lincRNA-EPS in NSCLC tissues was 71.4%, which was significantly higher than that in adjacent normal lung tissues (P <0.01).Moreover,lincRNA-EPS level was sig-nificantly higher in NSCLC tissues of TNMⅢ/Ⅳ stages or with lymph node metastasis,than in NSCLC tissues of TNMⅠ/Ⅱ stages or without lymph node metastasis (both P <0.05).Nevertheless,the expression of lincRNA-EPS was comparable between NSCLC tissues of low-medium differentiation and those of high-differentiation (P >0.05).Conclusion The ex-pression of lincRNA-EPS is related with the clinical stages and lymph node metastasis of NSCLC.关键词
