Abstract
Comprehensive risk management and control (RMC) is defined as a risk-based life cycle contaminated site management strategy with better economic and sustainable performance to achieve site remedy and redevelopment. Due to the numerous number of contaminate sites and their complexities of contamination in China, the traditional clean-up orientated management strategy does not fit in well with the current development of the country. Comprehensive RMC strategy as an emerging technique is considered to be a risk-based and cost-effective solution to achieve the classified management of the contaminated site, which suggests a potential large-scale application in China. To demonstrate that comprehensive RMC is an appropriate alternative to clean-up strategy regarding contaminated site management, varied RMC techniques in prevalence were introduced. In order to strengthen risk management and control of soil pollution in China, standardize the development and use of contaminated soil, this paper summarizes the characteristics and limitations of the main types of risk control technology at home and abroad, as well as its application mode, and the development trend of the system, expand the definition of soil pollution risk control, formed a set of basic processes risk management and control, so as to provide reference for its wide application in the domestic economy, provide technical support for effective prevention and treatment of soil pollution in China.关键词
