Screening of producing strain of microbial flocculant and optimization of culture conditions

Abstract
Twenty-eight dominant strains were obtained from soil and activated sludge. After screening and rescreening, H14 strain with stable flocculation ability was selected. The effects of morphology, ecological environment and nutrition aspects on the growth and production of flocculants were studied. The optimal cul?ture conditions of H14 strain determined by orthogonal test were glucose was 20 g/L, peptone was 2.5 g/L, ini?tial pH was 7, temperature was 28℃. Under these conditions, average flocculation rate was 91.0%.关键词
