Abstract
Objective To investigate the prevalence of osteoporosis among health check-up crowd of Hainan General Hospital, and analyze the related risk factors. Method 7286 cases with health examination in our hospital from Apri 2011 to December 2016 were selected as the research objects. The general data was conducted by face-to-face questionnaire. Bone mineral density of the distal one-third of the radius and the ulna of non-dominant forearm was measured by instrument. The prevalence rate of osteoporosis was calculated and the effects of various factors were analyzed. Result There were 1413 cases of osteoporosis among 7286 healthy physical examination, the osteoporosis prevalence was 19.39%. Through single and multiple factor analysis, age ≥ 60 years (OR = 2.098, 95%CI: 1.479 ~ 5.283, P < 0.05) and women (OR = 1.977, 95%CI:1.211 ~ 4.382, P < 0.05) were the major risk factors for health check-up crowd, drinking (OR = 0.287, 95%CI: 0.134 ~ 0.797, P < 0.05) and BMI > 25 kg/m2 (OR = 0.415, 95%CI: 0.221 ~ 0.866, P < 0.05) were the protective factors for health check-up crowd. Conclusion The osteoporosis prevalence rate increases with age increasing in health check-up crowd of Hainan General Hospital, the older women are the most severe, and these people should take more exercise, change unhealthy lifestyle, supplement calcium properly to prevent the occurrence of osteoporosis.关键词
