Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the use status of antibiotics in the Third People`s Hospital of Wuxi(hereinafter referred to as "our hospital"), so as to provide reference for the rational clinical use of antibiotics. METHODS:Use data of antibiotics in our hospital during 2012-2016 were collected, Excel 2003 software was adopted, defined daily dose(DDD)was used as the unit, antibiotics use density(AUD)of antibiotics was calculated and analyzed. RESULTS:The AUD of our hospital was in an decreasing tendency during 2012-2016. The top three antibiotics ranked by AUD were respectively the 1st generation of cephalosporins, nitroimidazoles and the 3rd generation of cephalosporins. The top ten drugs ranked by AUD were respectively β-lactam, fluoroquinolones and aminoglycosides, mainly for injections. For five years, the average AUD of our hospital was 69.19 DDDs/(100 people·d), lower than the domestic average level[80.1 DDDs/(100 people·d)], yet it was far from target of clinical use of antibiotics[40 DDDs/(100 people·d)]. CONCLUSIONS:The measures for rational use of antibiotics in our hospital are effective, but still exist some problems as excessive medicine, centralized, high level of drugs, abuse and other issues. It is important to further refine management measures and establish improved long-term mechanism to promote rational use of drugs and avoid excessive increase in AUD.关键词
