Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the application status of outpatient Chinese patent medicine prescriptions in Guangzhou Nansha District the Sixth People`s Hospital(hereinafter referred to as "this hospital"), so as to provide reference for the promotion of rational drug application. METHODS:By retrospective analysis method, 150 prescriptions each were extracted on the 15th day of each month from 2015 to 2016, with a total of 3 600 prescriptions, review and analysis were conducted from the aspects of non-standard prescriptions, improper administration and abnormal prescriptions. RESULTS:Of the 3 600 prescriptions, the average categories of drugs were 2.56, application rate of traditional Chinese medicine injections was 8.72%, application rate of essential drugs was 36.74%, application rate of general name was 94.45%, and the average per prescribed amount was 68.45 yuan. Meanwhile, the rational prescriptions were 3 282 (91.17%), irrational were 318 (8.83%); the irrational prescriptions were 239 (13.28%) in 2015 and 79(4.39%) in 2016. Types of irrational prescriptions were mainly performed as non-standard prescriptions, improper administration and abnormal prescriptions; the number of prescriptions in 2016 were fewer than that in 2015. CONCLUSIONS:The outpatient Chinese patent medicine prescriptions in our hospital is basically rational, yet there are still some problems, it is necessary to improve the review system, establish long-term intervention mechanism, strengthen the role of clinical pharmacists and improve rational drug application.关键词
