摘要

Abstract

Solidification microstructure evolution and mechanical properties of AZ91 magnesium alloy under different cooling rate were explored.The results show that the grain size of the centrifugal casting AZ91 magnesium alloy refines under heat preservation cooling condition,and only a small amount of β phase (Mg12Al17) precipitates.It tends to directional solidification.The second phase distribution is uniformity,and it consists of the first β3 phase and a small amount of the second phase in the intracrystalline.Under no heat preservation cooling condition,the degree of grain refinement is bigger,the β phase precipitation quantity increases obviously,and it tends to volume solidification,is mainly composed of secondary β phase.With the increase of cooling rate,the first β phase changes from two separate short clavite complete-divorced eutectic structure to bulky continuous "honeycomb" shape part-divorced eutectic structure.In the same centrifugal pressure,with the improvement of cooling rate,the compressive strength increases,the largest plastic drops.
