Effects of Different Reagents on Germination of Rice Seeds and Seedling Growth
摘要
Abstract
[Objective] To study germination ability of rice and seedling growth under different biochemical reagents treatments.[Method] The seeds of rice were treated with NaCl,CuSO4,CaCl2,KNO3,Na2B4O7 at various concentrations respectively.After germination,we calculated the germination vigor,germination percentage,germination index,vigor index,the ground fresh weight,root weight,root length,height of seedling.[Result] Except CuSO4,these chemicals promoted the germination of rice seed,especially 1.5%CaCl2 treatment.All chemicals inhibited the growth of leaf fresh weight and root weight,but promoted the growth of root length and seedling height.[Conclusion] There have different effects of chemical reagents on rice germination ability.Chemical reagents inhibit the growth of overground part of rice,but promote the growth of root.关键词
