Advances on Regulation of DNA Methylation and Demethylation on Muscle Development
摘要
Abstract
Muscle development is a complicated biology process, which has remained largely unclear about its regulatory mechanism. The regulatory function in terms of epigenetic modifications on muscle development have turned into hot topic, and it was proved that DNA methylation and demethylation played a critical modula-tion role during myogenesis. Muscle stem cell specific-region modified by DNA methylation to regulate the my-ogenic process involves in affecting the key regulatory genes expression during muscle early development. This paper focused on the dynamic process of DNA methylation and demethylation during different stages of myo-genesis, important methyltransferases and demethylases, effects of nutrition on muscle development by DNA methylation.关键词
