摘要

Abstract

Antimicrobial peptides ( AMP) have been used as a new type of antibacterial agent because of their stable physical and chemical properties, wide antibacterial spectrum, high-temperature resistance. Besides, possibilities of resistance that bacteria might develop toward AMP are much lower than other antibiotics. These characteristics make AMP become the ideal substitute for antibiotics, and thus make AMP having a broad appli-cation prospect. However, with the in-depth study of AMP, we found that some microbes can still produce re-sistance to AMP. At present, there is no in-depth study on the mechanism of gram-positive spores' s resistance toward AMP. In addition, little is known about the antibacterial mechanism of AMP to gram-positive bacteria. This review summarized researches on the target of AMP, its antibacterial mechanism against gram-positive and the antibiotic resistance of gram-positive strains.
