Impact of VSC-HVDC Based Wind Power on Power System Angle Stability Considered of Frequency Control

Abstract
Voltage source converter based high voltage direct current (VSC-HVDC) is a typical transmission mode of offshore wind power farms.The large-scale offshore wind power farms exert more and more obvious impacts on the power angle stability of power systems.Mainly analyzed the effects of power angle stability of PMSG wind farms connected into two machine system by VSC-HVDC and its frequency regulation control.Built the models of offshore PMSG integrated by VSC-HVDC into two-machine system,and analyzed the effect of PMSG wind farms integrated by VSC-HVDC and its frequency regulation control on the stability of power angle in the case of load-changing and faults by theoretical derivation and area equivalent principle.Finally,the validity of the theoretical analyses were verified based on the power system simulation PSCAD/EMTDC.关键词
