Harmonic Resonance Modal Analysis of Multi-inverter Grid-connected Systems

Abstract
In order to obtain the resonance frequency of multi-inverter grid-connected systems,traditional frequency domain method involves complicated high-order transfer functions,which is a very computing-intensive work and cannot provide useful information on the scope of the impaction of resonance,the degree of involvement of each component at different resonance frequencies and etc.This paper presented a modal analysis method to acquire the frequency and the affected areas of resonance in a multiinverter grid-connected system by analyzing its node admittance matrix.By comparing the results of modal analysis method with frequency domain method,the correctness of the method proposed was validated.On this basis,the modal sensitivity analysis can assess the degree of involvement of each component at resonance frequency.The influence range of the system resonance can be determined according to the participation factor size.The results of sensitivity analysis are not only beneficial to the control of harmonic resonance,but also helpful for the design of system parameters.Finally,the theoretical analysis is validated by PSCAD/EMTDC simulation software.关键词
