Abstract
Objective To study the effect of different doses of azathioprine on hormone withdrawalin the treatment of refractory ulcerativecolitis (RUC).Methods Eighty patients with RUC were randomly assigned tolow dose group and high dose group,with 40 cases in each group.The two groups were treated with oral AZA by 1.5 mg/kg/d and 3 mg/kg/d,respectively,in addition to hormone therapy.Azathioprine was maintained after hormone withdrawal.The treatment effects and adverse reactions were compared,and the effect of different doses on hormone withdrawal was analyzed by multiple linear regression analysis.Results The treatment effects showed no significant difference between the two groups (P ＞ 0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the low-dose group after treatment was 10％,while in the high dose group 30％(P ＜ 0.05).The dose of azathioprine was significantly positively correlated with the time othormone withdrawal (r =0.9086).Conclusion The effects of oral 1.5 mg/kg/d and oral 3 mg/kg/d dose of azathioprineare similar in the treatment of RUC,but 1.5 mg/kg/d of azathioprine significantly shortened the duration of hormone therapy,reduces adverse reaction,with better safety.关键词
