Design and Simulation of Three-level Cuk AC/AC Chopper Circuit

Abstract
The Cuk three-level AC/AC converter was proposed in view of the problem of low output voltage quality and the switch large voltage and large input/output current ripple of traditional AC/AC converter ,and a CLC lossless buffer circuit was designed for reducing spikes and circuit loss. The working principle of the converter was described,the main parameters of the converter was designed,and voltage closed loop control method with current polarity detection was adopted,three-level Cuk type AC/AC converter and CLC circuit simulation model were established. The simulation results show that the converter,with the advantages of three level output,small output voltage THD and low voltage stress,is suitable for high voltage power quality requirements in high-pressure situations. Furthermore,the CLC buffer circuit can effectively reduce the peak voltage of electronic switching devices and realize zero cut-off function.关键词
