Prospecting Potential at Depth of the Taohua Gold Deposit in Guangxi: An Analysis Based on CSAMT Survey

Abstract
The Taohua gold deposit in Guangxi hosts quartz vein and tectonic altered rock types of mineralization.Recently,large gold ore bodies have been found in the tectonic altered rocks of this deposit.Although detailed exploration has been conduced in the shallow subsurface of this region,the deeper space remains a gap.Understanding the situation of the extension of the broken alteration zones downward can help ore exploration in the deeper mining area and realize the breakthrough of prospecting.For this purpose,we have participated in the work of CSAMT profile measurement in the Taohua gold mining area of the Dayaoshan gold integrated exploration area.On the basis of analyzing the physical properties of the rocks and ores and the CSAMT inversion results,we obtained new perceptions on the deep plunging of the tectonic altered zones in the gold mining area,and detected the presence of another fault fracture zone and inferred the burial depth of the concealed rock mass.These results point out the direction of the future work,and also provide a reliable basis for drilling construction.关键词
