Abstract
Objective:To study the application value of laparoscopic appendectomy in children with acute appendicitis and its effect on serum C reactive protein.Methods:From Jan.2016 to Dec.2016,100 children with acute appendicitis were treated with appendectomy in the first affiliated hospital of Xinxiang Medical University.These patients were divided into two groups,of which 52 patients were treated with open appendectomy (control group),48 patients underwent laparoscopic appendectomy (observation group).The clinical efficacy between the two groups was observed and compared.Results:The value of intraoperative index (intraoperative bleeding,operation time,incision length,extubation time,analgesic usage),postoperative index (scar rate,hospitalization expenses,gastrointestinal function recovery time,eating time,antibiotic use time) and the postoperative complications (abdominal residual infection,incision infection,adhesive intestinal obstruction) in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05).Although there was no obvious difference in C reactive protein concentration between the two groups before treatment (P>0.05),C reactive protein level was significantly lower in observation group compared with the control group (P<0.05) on the first day and third day after surgery.Conclusions:Laparoscopic appendectomy is recommendable for children with acute appendicitis with faster recovery,fewer traumas and complications.关键词
