Calculation on Steady-state Ampacity of Cable Based on Real-time Measured Data

Abstract
It is critical for realizing dynamic capacity-increase of the cable by accurately calculating ampacity of the cable.In order to correctly assess steady-state ampacity of the cable under different operational conditions, a steady-state thermal circuit model based on real-time measured data was built to solve real-time steady-state ampacity of the cable, and experiment on steady-state temperature rise was designed to verify reliability of this model.Comparison between experimental result and calculated result indicates that the calculated errors of real-time steady-state ampacity of the cable under different steady-state conditions are all negative and the absolute values of errors are less than 5%.Accuracy of the calculated result can meet requirements for engineering application.关键词
