摘要

Abstract

Since common hole patching methods have some shortcomings,such as failure in repairing complexsurface,and repaired surface being not smooth,a new hole patching method which uses adaptive slicing is presented.Firstly,consider partial feature of point clouds,and obtain adaptive slicing,and then introduce the total least-square method to fit slicing.Finally,choose virtual points from the slicing and fill the missing parts of the point clouds.The test results show that the adaptive slicing method can take into account the curvature and density of the point clouds and keep the local feature of the point clouds,and using the total least squares curve fitting holes can improve the accuracy and smoothness of the filled point clouds.By comparing with other common hole repairing methods,the total least squares adaptive slicing method is better.
