骨性开(牙合)与颈椎骨骼异常的相关性研究
The correlation study of the cervical vertebra abnormalities in patients with skeletal open bite
摘要
Abstract
Objective:To investigate whether there is an associasion between the skeletal open bite and the cervical vertabra abnormalities by lateral cephalometric radiographs.Methods:Seventy-two patients with the skeletal open bite were selected as the open bite group,and 250 patients with normal bite and Class I who had accepted orthodontic treatment were selected as the control group.The cervical vertebra by lateral cephalometric radiographs taken in their first visit were evaluated and the data of the first four cervical fusion and posterior arch defects were recorded.The relationship between the cervical vertebra and skeletal open bite by chi-square test were analyzed.Results:The occurrence rate of the cervical fusion and the posterior arch defects in the open bite group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:There is a obviously increasing occurrence rate of the cervical vertebra abnormalities in patients with skeletal open bite.关键词
