Abstract
This paper introduces the welding of the 70 mm-thick offshore wind power pipe pile S355NL steel plate by leveraging a new type of mechanical U narrow-groove (after back chipping) double-power three-wire submerged-arc welding. The welding process is elaborated and the macro-section analysis and impact toughness test on welded joint and CTOD test of weld seam are performed. The test results meet the requirements in relevant standards and show that the given double-power three-wire narrow-groove submerged-arc welding can improve the production efficiency, reduce cost and realize better impact toughness and anti-crack property of welded joint without compromising the welding quality, and the steel plate can be used without post-weld heat treatment.关键词
