Design of Freedom From Choosing Direction Install Multifunctional Stereo Double bias Scalpel Handle

Abstract
Objective To reduce the cumbersome works, such as the preoperative preparation of various elbow type scalpel handles, which behaves well in intensive and ergonomics, this research aims to design a freedom from choosing direction install multifunctional stereo double bias scalpel handle. Methods According to the national standard (GB), ergonomics structures such as the scalpel rack of convenient and easy to install and dismount, free directivity blade assemble tailstock and multifunctional handle were designed. The scalpel handle component module was equipped with double bias heads scalpel handle, bone file ruler, wiresaw handle, universal screw needle and screw nut wrenchs, magnetic bending device of needles and plates, breaking the ampoule opening device and etc, which integrated ten kinds of functions for orthopedic and basic surgical instruments and applied for verification. Results The verifiable application showed that the double bias heads scalpel handle not only had functions of several types elbow head scalpel handles, but also overcame the defects of the general scalpel handle, such as single function and inconvenience picking up, poor disassemble and assemble, install directivity, easy to break and ejection injury problems, and met the desired requirements. Conclusion The double bias heads scalpel handle gains advantages in multipurpose, convenient picking up and comfortable grip, free directivity assembling blade, left and right handedness, simple and quick disassembly, twice the result with half the effort, active protection, operation safety, easy to carry and store, cost-effective, suitable both in peacetime and wartime. It can be conducive to reducing human error, achieving the goals of patient safety and the implementation of joint commission on accreditation of healthcare organization (JCI) certification standards, reducing cost and increasing efficiency, enhancing operation efficiency, preventing sharp instrument injury and decreasing vocational hazard.关键词
