Abstract
Objective To observe the impact of endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) on the subsequent gastrectomy.Methods The clinical data of 60 early gastric cancer patients undergoing additional gastrectomy after ESD(ESD group,n =28) or radical surgery(surgery group,n =32) from January 2011 to June 2014 in our hospital were retrospectively analyzed.The length of hospital stay,intra-operative blood loss,hospitalization cost,lymph node metastasis,operation time,the number of postoperative pyrexia and infection were compared.Results The length of hospital stay and hospitalization cost in ESD group were higher than the surgery group (P ＜ 0.05).The other indexes had no difference between the two groups (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion Additional gastrectomy after endoscopic submucosal dissection has no negative influence on the prognosis of patients with early gastric cancer.关键词
