Abstract
Objective:To observe the clinical effect of triple therapy,which includes acupuncture,irradiation with TDP,and cupping,on peripheral facial paralysis during acute stage.Methods:93 patients were randomized into the conventional treatment group(47 cases) and the triple therapy group(46 cases).The patients in the conventional treatment group were treated with oral hormone and nerve nutrition drugs;the patients in the triple therapy group were treated with the combination of acupuncture,irradiation with TDP,and cupping during acute stage on the basis of the conventional treatment.The same therapy was applied in both groups after one-week acute stage.After two courses,clinical efficacy was evaluated according to the H-B facial nerve function score and symptoms quantitative score.Results:The effective rate was 95.65％ in the triple therapy group,and the improvement of the facial nerve function and symptoms were significantly better than those of the conventional treatmen group (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion:The triple therapy is an effective way to treat acute peripheral facial paralysis,which is worthy of clinical application.关键词
