Abstract

In the experiment,nano-SiO2,silica fume and fly ash were respectively used as mineral additive to modify cement-based materials,forming a protective layer on the surface of concrete.To explore the improvement mechanism of these additives,the chloride diffusion coefficient was determined by rule RCM and through SEM,XRD and DSC,the composition of modified cement-based materials' hydration products was studied,as well as its micro structure.The result suggestes that the mortar protective layer on the surface of concrete enhanced its ability to resist chloride ion erosion by 56.75%,and with the addition of fly ash,silica fume and nano-SiO2,their improvement effects are more obvious,meanwhile,their improvement ability is increased in turn.Fly ash increases cement stone's compactness with its micro aggregate effect and filling effect,while nano-SiO2 and silica fume facilitate cement 's hydration and generate second hydration,thus enhance its resistance to chloride ion erosion.The research finding shows that using ceramic mineral admixture for modification to form a protective layer can significantly enhance concrete's resistance to chloride ion erosion,laying the foundation of further study about the exterior protective system of ceramic coagulation body.
