Abstract
In this paper, the experiment on AZ31B magnesium alloy and 6061 aluminum alloy dissimilar metals FSW is carried out in three setting positions of stir-welding head. Effect of the positions on the weld appearance for dissimilar metals is investigated. The experimental result shows that when the stir head is offselted 1 mm away from Al alloy joint, its welding gualily is better than one for Mg alloy. The fracture of the stir-welding heads is mainly caused by constantly increasing the amount of infermetallic compounds.关键词
