摘要

Abstract

In the industry standard about the wear resistance of alumina ball JC/T848.1-2010, the mill speed is 80r/min, relative velocity between balls is less than 0.837m/s.The friction and impact is too weak so that it is not suitable for the determination of quasi nanometer alumina grinding ball or similar porcelain ball with high wear resistance, high impact resistance.In this paper, determination of abrasion resistance is using quick mill with rotation rate of 480r/min, where line speed is about 4m/s and the balling-tank occurs two eccentric vibration per rotation;crushing strength of grinding ball is tested using machine of the same type with DYE-600 type constant pressure testing machine.This new test method is effective for strong impact applications such as cement milling to optimize wear balls.
