Abstract
Objective To investigate the effects of age,hypertension and diabetes on the progression of transient cerebral ischemic attack (TIA) to acute cerebral infarction.Methods The clinical data of 100 patients with TIA in Neurology Department,Department of Rehabilitation and Geriatricsof Yichang Central Hospital from June 2014 to June 2016 were retrospectively analyzed,according to whether developing into acute cerebral infarction,which were divided into the experimental group (acute cerebral infarction) with 34 cases and the control group (non-acute cerebral infarction) with 66 cases.The general informations of two groups were compared,and related factors of TIA developing into acute cerebral infarction also were analyzed.Results The systolic pressure,diastolic pressure,blood glucose,total cholesterol and TIA first attack time from treatment of the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.001).Logsitic regression analysis showed age,history of hypertension,history of coronary heart disease and history of diabetes were risk factors affecting TIA development to acute cerebral infarction (P<0.05).Conclusion Age,history of hypertension and history of diabetes are risk factors affecting the development of TIA to acute cerebral infarction,elderly TIA patients with diabetes and hypertension have high risk of acute cerebral infarction,which should need strengthen attention and early prevention.关键词
