Abstract
Objective To study the clinical effect of pidotimod combined with loratadine in treating allergic rhinitis and the impact on inflammatory factors.Methods A total of 118 cases of allergic rhinitis children were selected from March 2014 to March 2016 in the Second People′s Hospital of Yunnan Province,which were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table,59 cases in each group.Control group was treated with loratadine and basic treatment,observation group was treated with pidotimod based on control group,both groups were treated for 4 weeks.The clinical effect,clinical symptoms(rhinocnesmus,running nose,rhinobyon,sneeze) alleviating time,and the clinical symptoms scores and inflammatory factors(IL-4,IL-5,IL-12,TNF-α) before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of observation group was higher than control group(P<0.05).The observation group of alleviating time of rhinocnesmus,running nose,rhinobyon,sneeze were shorter than control group(P<0.05).Before treatment,no statistically significant differences of rhinocnesmus,running nose,rhinobyon,sneeze scores was found between the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment,the rhinocnesmus,running nose,rhinobyon,sneeze scores of observation group were lower than control group(P<0.05).Before treatment,no statistically significant differences of IL-4,IL-5,IL-12 or TNF-α was found between the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment,the observation group of IL-4,IL-5 levels were lower than control group,IL-12 and TNF-α levels were higher than control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Pidotimod combined with loratadine have and exactly clinical effect in treating allergic rhinitis,it can effectively improve the clinical symptoms,reduce the inflammatory factors,and promote the disease recovery.关键词
