Abstract
Objective To study the efficacy of Jieyu pills combined with citalopram on refractory depression and its effects on serum norepinephrine(NE),5-HT,and brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF).Methods 92 patients with refractory depression in our hospital were randomly divided into the observation group(46 cases)and the control group(46 cases) from January 2014 to December 2015.The observation group was treated with Jieyu pill combined with citalopram,the control group was treated with only citalopram.The clinical efficacy was evaluated by Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD),and the serum NE,5-HT and BDNF were detected before and after treatment.The incidence of adverse reactions was observed.Results The total effective rate in the observation group was 87.0% (40/46),was higher than that in control group of 71.7% (33/46)(P<0.05).The serum NE,5-HT,BDNF were statistically significant between the two group before treatment and after 4 weeks treatment(P>0.05).The serum NE,5-HT,BDNF in observation group were higher than those in control group after 8 weeks treatment(P<0.05).The serum NE,5-HT,BDNF after 4 and 8 weeks treatment were higher than those before treatment in the two groups(P<0.05).There was no significant difference of incidence of adverse reactions(P>0.05).Conclusion The effecicacy of Jieyu pill combined with citalopram on refractory depression is better than pure citalopram,and the serum NE,5-HT,BDNF effect level are more significant,and does not increase the incidence of adverse reaction.It is worthy of clinical application.关键词
