Effects of Different Concentrations of Protamine on Quality of Boar Semen Stored at 17℃
摘要
Abstract
The aim of this study was to investigate that the effects of protamine on the quality of boar semen stored at 17℃.Boar semen was diluted with Modena diluent containing different concentrations (0,5,10,20 μg/mL) of protamine.The sperm motility,path velocity,linear velocity,and sperm deformity rate were evaluated to analyze the effects of protamine on boar semen quality during liquid preservation at 17℃.The results showed that the process of storage at 17℃,detecting sperm motility,path velocity,linear velocity of the group on the basis of the diluent containing 10μg/mL protamine were significantly higher than that of the other groups (P＜0.05),and sperm deformity rate of group containing 10μg/mL protamine was the lowest in all groups.In this study,our results confirmed that 10μg/mL protamine can improve the quality of boar semen during liquid storage at 17℃.关键词
