摘要

Abstract

The present experiment was conducted to examine the effect of energy intake on ovary development in Pekin ducks during the growing period according to the morphology of ovary,plasma profiles,and gene expression.A total of 240 8-week-old Pekin ducks were randomly assigned to 5 dietary treatments of 10.00,10.65,11.30,11.95,12.60 MJ/kg ME with an average energy intake of 1.63 1.73,1.84,1.94,and 2.05 MJ/d by restricted feeding,respectively,and fed for 12 weeks.In our study,high energy intake led to significant increment in body weight and weight gain of ducks (P<0.05) and it may be due to more fat deposition at this instance.As energy intake increased from 1.63 to 2.05 MJ/d,skin and abdominal fat increased significantly and it was also accompanied with significant increase in plasma.On the other hand,high energy intake stimulated ovary development.Higher ovary percentage was observed (P< 0.05) at 1.94 and 2.05 MJ/d and it was also accompanied with larger follicle size according to histological morphology.Furthermore,ovary development might be controlled by gene regulation and it was supported by significant increase in gene expression of follicle-stimulating hormone receptor (FSHR),estrogen receptor (E2R) and leptin receptor (LEPR) at high energy intake.However,the highest (P< 0.05) expression level of the luteinizing hormone receptor (LHR) was 1.84 MJ/d group.In conclusion,the energy intake regulate ovary development by the expression of reproduction-related gene and stimulate more fat depostion.
