Abstract
This paper presents a reliability evaluation method for medium voltage stand-alone microgrids based on se-quential Monte Carlo simulation. Based on the location of automatic protection devices,a topology partitioning method is used. A novel power flow based operation strategy is presented to take account of both active and reactive power bal-ance,which overcomes the shortage of traditional reliability evaluation method in analyzing the adequacy of system re-active power. A modified practical stand-alone microgrid in Canada is studied to investigate how different battery stor-age system parameters affect the system reliability. The results indicate the correctness of the proposed method.关键词
