Abstract
According to the study of international and Chinese standards and codes, an introduction to the requirements, factors and analysis for the number of port operation days is made in detail, which leads to the restrictive conditions for the number of port non-operation days stipulated in the codes issued by different countries. The factors affecting an integral operation process are analyzed, involving ship approaching port, ship berthing & mooring, cargo handling and ship leaving the port. In addition, the restrictive standard for the port operation conditions are given subject to no available test results. Finally, suitable analysis methods for determining the number of port operation days are put forward and the measures for increasing port availability are proposed.关键词
