摘要

Abstract

Objective To investigate the chemical constituents and biological activities of the flower of Musa basjoo Sieb. et Zucc. Methods The chemical compositions of flower of Musa basjoo Sieb. et Zucc were isolated by silica gel column chromatography, macroporous resin and TLC, purified by HPLC, and identified by MS technology. MTT assay was used to test the effect of extracts of Musa basjoo Sieb. et Zucc on BEL-7402 cell proliferation and Ang Ⅱ-induced A7r5 cell proliferation. Results One of the chemical constituents, stigmasterol, was identified by LC-MS from ethyl acetate and petroleum ether phase constituents. The petroleum ether phase and ethyl acetate phase from the petroleum ether extract significantly inhibited the proliferation of BEL-7402 cells in a dose-dependent manner ( P<0. 01 ) . The petroleum ether extract and ethyl acetate extract reduced the proliferation of A7r5 cells induced by AngⅡin a dose-and time-dependent manner ( P<0.01) . Conclusion The petroleum ether phase and ethyl acetate phase from the petroleum ether extract inhibit the proliferation of BEL-7402 cells. The petroleum ether extract and ethyl acetate extract inhibit the proliferation of A7r5 cells induced by AngⅡ. Stigmasterol has been isolated from Musa basjoo Sieb. et Zucc, which provides a reference for further study of its biological activity.
